Chinatown After Dark

About this event

Deep house, house, techno, italo disco, and electronic music for the heads, shufflers, and lovers of the sound. Very limited capacity. A community for queers, lovers, misfits, and diasporic dreamers. --- Yuka Yu is a Taiwan-born DJ, producer, and multidisciplinary artist whose sound moves between East and West, the atmospheric and the physical, the dreamlike and the dancefloor. Raised amid the evolution of electronic music in Asia and shaped by her multicultural heritage, she began her musical journey in London’s underground scene, developing a distinctive approach to DJing rooted in sonic exploration and storytelling. Drawing inspiration from Aphex Twin, Björk, Yuka weaves deep house, techno, acid, and left-field rhythms into immersive, genre-fluid journeys. Her sets often begin in ambient, dreamlike spaces before unfolding into deep grooves and weightier basslines, creating a passage between worlds that invites listeners to lose themselves in the music. A seasoned selector with appearances at Ministry of Sound London, EDC Las Vegas, and leading venues across North America, Europe, and Asia, Yuka approaches music as a language beyond borders. free w/rsvp | 21+ Organized by Nu Tekno
